Agreed, its pretty cool. I dont know any books quite like it; but you could try the authors of the Renouveau catholique. Huysmans would be an example, with "The Cathedral".

This show was a fun foreshadowing of how the Trads are going to take over the Church because everybody else has fucking left or failed to have kids.

Or, I suppose it will be them, the Africans, and the Asians. I'm sure the three groups can come to an understanding about the hierarchy. But the Trads will be the last ones standing in Europe and North America.
