I realize it probably seems shallow of me to be asking this question. But, without the proper answer I run the risk of seeming shallow to people I actually know. They trump you, /lit/. Tell me what think:

On Facebook, there's an area to put your religion and political alignment. When you see the sort of thing that the run-of-the-mill "moderate" independent would refer to as "radical", do you think they're posting it there for the purpose of receiving attention?

I'm not too sure if I'd feel more comfortable leaving it blank or putting my actual beliefs. Personally, I don't care whether or not an average Joe thinks me a "radical", but I'd prefer not to seem smug and attention-seeking to those whom I like and whose opinions I value. What think?

Hm I am actually one of the persons who has written 'communist' in there. But well I tend to have some kind of 'special' idea about communism, so I am not really a hardcore communist or something like that. Its just as close as it gets with this shit and can make people understand what kind of views I have.
Honestly if anyone is interested in this shit or wants to know why I have the political view of a communist, they can just ask.

I know the people I have added on facebook, most of them are pretty close friends and know what kind of person I am and that I am quiet strange / radical when it comes to some things. And everyone who thinks that I am stupid or an idiot, just because I like some really strange stuff or have believes that are different from most other people, can just fuck off.
