So we've established that the human mind is full of spooks. Even the self is an illusion. But why is it like that? Is it as the scientists say just evolution's way of keeping us surviving and reproducing for the sake of it or is there something else behind the veil? How does the illusion of the self keep us surviving and reproducing? How does the spook of morality do that too?

Your self is not an illusion, even if your sense of self is. What I mean by this is that at any moment you and anyone else can only ever be aware of a small slice of what you actually are, your/you're unique. This is what Stirner is getting at when he says that names do not name the unique, that it is just a way to gesture at what he is referring to, and that to actually show what he means would be to manifest it: you, whoever, or whatever in its entirety. Everything in the world is like this, it overflows whatever kind of representation you try to give it. We exist beyond what can be contained in the phrase-world as Stirner calls it.
How then do these illusory representations arise? Through a process of averaging, recording and forgetting. We record an amount of stimuli, average and overlay some unique patterns, fold them onto each other and forget the differences between them to form a category, a representation.
Spooks are of course representational, but the term is used by Stirner to call attention to a relation of servitude that can develop between Uniques and Spooks. A situation where these representations become fixed and begin to control the unique that created them, possessing the unique, rather than allowing them to flow and develop. You can't get away from these representations as the human mind doesn't have the bandwidth nor the sensory equipment to encounter, retain, and understand everything as it is; representation is a necessary derivative of reality for us to function.
Morality reproduces itself like any other representation, but is a spook by definition because of its fixed and limiting nature.

Those fucking drawings have ruined me, I can’t go through my day without thinking of those handsome fucking drawings depicting the German Philosopher Johann Kaspar Schmidt, more commonly known as Max Stirner. His firm stare, his strong jawline, his sharp mutton chops and fuck me, that smirk, it sends me into a frenzy. I have his Wikipedia page bookmarked on all of my devices and it’s the page that all of my browsers open on.

I want to make a physical union of Egoists with him until it’s in his self interest to pass out. I want him to fuck the spooks out of me until all my holes are dribbling with his milky loads. I want to please his ego to the most carnal extent.

The Egoist concept of property can apply to anything as long as you exert power over it, and here I want it to apply to me. He can exert all the power he has over me, everything is his, including me, his property. Max Stirner might not be the most well known philosopher, but he’s the fucking sexiest.
