Am I a pleb if I loved the original Dune but found all 5 of the Frank sequels dull and boring, even God emperor?
Hell, I even enjoyed Brian's House trilogy better than the Frank sequels, but that might be because Duke Leto is my favorite character in the series

I enjoyed the world but found Dune boring as fuck and Herbert's prose very awkward. Should I read any of the sequels?

If you didn't like the original there's no way you're going to enjoy the sequels. The prose and plot get even more boring.
On the other hand, Brian's books have a more mainstream kind of prose, albeit at the cost of the story being more actiony and pleby generic sci-fi stuff. I wouldn't recommend those books though, specially the butlerian jihad trilogy which is fucking retarded

Nah not at all. I thought everything up to God Emperor was good but different people have different feelings on Dune, it is just that kind of series

No, its an understandable position, I hear it often, but the other books will be a chore for you. Espcially God Emperor, that will be a huge filter for you if thats the case
