Why didn't you post sections of the book that lured people in? Why just spam stupid photoshops of your book cover on billboards, and weak-self promotional posts about how you followed your dreams? You did nothing to tantalize serious readers. Lets hope your efforts on Reddit are less transparently begging for attention and more centered around piquing people's interest in the actual story you tell and the style with which you tell it.
