>Bruno and Aristotle in the same chart
Why? Didn't Bruno think Aristotle was retarded?

Heidegger said he started with Luther, Aristotle, Kierkegaard and Husserl, and recognised that Luther hated Aristotle.

Bruno was an Aristotelian. Read Erich Bloch's Avicenna and Left Aristotelianism

>> No.17823226

Kant pales in comparison to Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, Eriugena, Aquinas. Burno is heretical even platonically and should not even be together the others. Schelling I think is ok and I don't know much about Richter.

Same reason why Plato is so important, he understood things other failed to, like heteronomy in ethics

Would someone that read all of them and try to follow them be more likely to become a catholic or some sort of neoplatonist?

I should have typed christian, I'm from a catholic country so I'm mot used to include other denominations. Assuming that you read the authors of the 3x3, do you consider yourself strictly orthodox or also neoplatonist?

>> No.17823866

>>17823795
I don't include certain beliefs (like Plotinus' belief in transmigration of the soul or Bruno's heretical views concerning Christian doctrine) but I generally like the approach the 9 take (I only recently took up Bruno's work, specifically his "A General Account of Bonding." Bruno is really /lit/ in general, his works are full of classical allusions and such)
