A savior complex to the extreme explains it. And her being unable to chase her dream is the cause. In Reiji she sees that same dream and for that wants to save and help him so that he doesn't end up like her.

Failing to live up to expectations can also help explain it. Sensei's grandpa had hopes for her going pro ping pong but due to an injury she couldn't go forward with it. The face of disappointment he had during the time of her injury still haunts her in her dreams. When Reiji accepted sensei's help she probably felt that it would atone for failing to live up to her grandpa's expectation. Reiji leaving earlier than promised would mean she failed again.

Other anon here. The savior complex is only half of it. The remaining piece behind her insanity is the fact she's basically a cake incel suffering a midlife crisis, minus the usual negative implications in it's modern usage which are replaced by pure lust fueled insanity. She lived as NPC, suppressing the madness that was within her that was continuesully being built up a long time ago, and it all got released in span of a week with Reiji showing how shocking desperate she is to herself and of course the fears of disappointing yet again this time to a fat pig who hopefully will be removed from the story for the better characters to shine.

I got two questions and am looking for kind anons to answer me.

1: Does the manga so far contain dealings of sexual assault or self-harm? I have not read a manga which properly dealt with those issues without being edgy so I'd rather ask before I get disappointed.
2: Do Yandere as depicted in manga have potential for literature, especially horror short stories? I've got enough behind me to deal with it. I used to be into yandere because I was a self-conscious neurotic disaster longing for that yandere qt but it only got bad when I got what I wished for.

I'd think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how this manga deal with these topics with it's characters especially the fatty in a particular scene even though I personally dislike her.

Sensei is great because while she is a yandere, she's self-aware of it to a certain degree. And thus she also knows that taking direct action would make her seem deranged. So she instead masks her actions to isolate the MC by using her influence, her authority/position. This is why she can fuck fatty over while still maintaining her public image, since she does so in her official capacity as a teacher.

Is there a hidden message there? Maybe.
