Having a good setup is key to good studies, having a little temple is an absolute benefit to your studies.

How is that a good setup?

Cause it's mine, my own, my temple, it's not some fancy big desk or some leather padded chair, it's a piece of trash, bought from an op-shop, but it's mine.

>what is your ideal comfy /lit/ day?
Raining, best part about being in the UK. My sleeping pattern has become borderline nocturnal and I don't give a fuuuuck
>do you prefer to read inside or outside?
Inside
>do you prefer a book, audiobook or video format?
Real paper book
>whats your go to snack for /lit/ activities? cheese and crackers? fruit? biscuits and tea?
Tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate. Eating a whole chorizo sausage so I don't have to cook something substantial.

I started sort of writing a fantasy book a few months ago, just a handful of pages, then forgot about it indefinitely. I came up with a fair bit of new stuff for it over the last few days, so I'm pretty pleased about that.

>what is your ideal comfy /lit/ day?
1. Waking up at around 3:00 in the afternoon after going to sleep at around 6:00 in the morning
2. Nice summer weather
3. Reading and playing vidya
>do you prefer to read inside or outside?
I like both, but I prefer inside
> do you prefer a book, audiobook or video format?
I like to read a physical book while listening to music appropriate to the book
>whats your go to snack for /lit/ activities?
Because of London frog, I now associate /lit/ with Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, chips, chocolate, and skittles.

what music do you listen to?

It depends on the book. I associate different artists/albums/songs with different writers/books. Like I always listen to The Smiths when reading Schopenhauer.

>ideal comfy /lit/ day

I'm actively a writer and a poet, and I'm heavily at work on a major story of mine that is going to span multiple books. As a result of this, my comfy days these days frequently involve writing, not reading.

I have settled into a routine on Tuesdays and Thursdays, my fasting days. I don't eat much, sometimes I don't eat anything, on those days. I wake up in the late morning, and I lounge around listening to music and drinking coffee for a few hours. Then I get dressed and wander around my city a bit, often stopping here and there to walk around. I sometimes have to drive to get to places, but I spend time there for a while when I get there, browsing around the shops and various centers.

I will then get some espresso by mid-afternoon, and when I am done with that, I will go to a nearby market and have a glass of wine, where I sit and catch up on the news and social media of the day on my phone. Then I come back my apartment, and I drink plenty of water, after which I usually have a beer. Then I sit on my bed cross-legged, with my laptop propped against my legs, and a glass of wine on the nearby table. And then I write. Usually it's an hour, sometimes two, sometimes three. I'm highly productive in these circumstances. I once banged out 4500 words in a single evening. And I always feel "in the zone" when I'm in this particular place and time. My magic hour usually around 9:00 PM, given that I'm a night owl.

Then when I'm done writing for the evening I'll slowly sip more wine, and maybe some whiskey later, or some vodka or tequila or rum. And then I'll wind down, and gradually grow more and more tired, until it's time for sleep.

I'm excited for the spring. I love the rain. It helps me concentrate, especially if its storming at night. I bought a recliner recently and that's been helping me focus on reading. I also recently bought a huge monitor, so now I have a three monitor setup and I use my huge monitor for reading eBooks.

I'll post an image someday.

I have a queen size bed. Against the long edge against the wall is a bean-bag, so my bed is also a sofa. At the head is covered with a bunch of pillows (normal and fish-shaped), so my bed is very versatile- I can rearrange it for any situation, or position. I also have a weighted blanket, which is amazing.

On the wall is a bunch of pictures and assorted other. I have an old computer table that I wedged into the corner of my bed, to stack books. Near the foot is an office desk with a pull-out tray for my laptop and everything else. I have a moon lamp hanging over my bed. It is 1000% comfy.
