agree that ulysses was a bit tricky, but was fine once you get into the swing of it.

reading chaucer in the original middle english, now that's challenging.

The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas in its original language. Too much unknown words in Portuguese. I couldn't even finish half of the book.

Probably Hume's Treatise of Human Nature, but the fact it's 700 pages didn't help, because I probably read it too quick so I didn't have to spend 2 months reading it.
