Does /lit/ agree? I read in another thread that Hardboiled Wonderland an Dance,Dance,Dance are better than Kafka on the Shore and Underworld is better than White Noise. Is the intellectual tier supposed to be inferior to the mid tier?

whose piece of shit list is this and what's going on with the serifs in that font

>Two from good
>Three from god

Tiers are stupid. You could have been reading while you made this.

But to answer your question, intellectual isn't really a classification in the context of your picture. There can be good and bad intellectual books.

I'm dissapointed by the lack of Bradbury and Doyle.

kafka on the shore was better than dancedancedance and hardboiled. hardboiled was one of my least fave murakami books and i've read them all (well, the ones translated into english except for the first in the rat trilogy)

underworld is not as accessible as white noise. white noise was great, underworld was too- but it felt burdensome at times.

white noise felt more cohesive. maybe it's much shorter.

Opinions, each one has their own, I personally would classify those books differently. Pretty much all these tier-classifications work for some people and don't work for others. I'd much rather make my own.

What the fuck is with all this modern shit? I want Marlowe. I want Chaucer. I want Milton.

pretty bitchin' tier list op

>> No.1771489

Casual reader tier is so mixed up I don't even. Since when is Ulysses and War & Peace casual in any way shape or form? Especially since you put Vonnegut and American Psycho in good tier.
