dude bro I toats understand what you're implying. like why would I enter the assfucking shop and be surprised and displeased to have my ass fucked? but sociology/history are two massive, diverse and important fields. historians and sociologists are valuable to some extent that is undeniable and some people are fascinated by the subjects and wanna either work with them or educate themselves about it. when i read sociology or history in a programme formed by professors and experts in the subject I expect and rightly so that the teachers will be impartial, objective, professional and educate us to become good sociologists and historians. but the shit that happened instead was a political indoctrination. im the only one as far as I can them in my class to be skeptical towards the material provided and encouraged to us. every other classmate seems to agree and swallow everything with eagerness.I wanted to learn ABOUT various sociological theories and ideas which attempt to explain society and the human nature. instead i was TAUGHT to be a post-modern, critical anti-racist feminist marxist cus those are the only perspectives I've been exposed and expected to apply. that shit is highly discouraging and the only rationale I have now to finish what I've started is to possibly be the change I want to see within the academics. keep ur friends close ur enemies closer kinda deal
