Why are mass market paperbacks / pocket books so underrated?
>dirt cheap
>compact and extremely portable, can be thrown in a bag without weighing you down
>takes up little shelf-space
>focuses on the text first and foremost
>triggers bugmen who buy their books just to look pretty on a shelf

They're fine for novellas. If they're going to take more than a few days to read, I'd rather get a version that doesn't have fuzzy, microscopic text.

I can relate to paperbacks
>falling apart
>fold easily
>strange smells
>get soft, floppy, and turn yellow with age

They’re fine. People buying the more expensive copies and thinking they’ll hold their value are morons.

I hate when the little man appears on the book and starts pissing on the page and tells you to stop reading. How bout you guys?
