Natasha made me feel like a beta simp and I dont like it. do you think her actions could be excused as her just being a dumb impatient and confused young girl and thus fairly understandable or is she truly irredeemable?

>is she truly irredeemable
She's redeemable imo.
You feeling like a beta simp has nothing to do with Tolstoy.

She’s literally a naive teenager. It’s good she had people that cared around her or things would’ve gone out of control. Natascha is a very real character.

That is possibly the most based wordsworth cover I have ever seen

its surprisingly good

that do be like it is though, right?

Yeah she was out of her depth and the consequences of her actions would be minor in a more logical time and in a family not already under so much stress. I think Pierre handled it very sensibly in general. The lack of children is the key difference between her and Anna for me, it's much harder to forgive someone when their actions directly harm someone they are supposed to be caring for.

It basically gives the middle finger to Tolstoy’s epilogue which is something that I gotta approve of at the end of the day

The more I look at it the more I like it. The finger pointing at Tolstoy is a nice touch. I already have three copies of War & Peace but I'm tempted to get this one too
