I genuinely believe that the brain structure of individuals as a result of genetics and early-childhood development is responsible for the massive divide in political opinions.

People who are far-right have a wholly different brain structure from those who are far-left, and neither can truly and naturally switch their position. People who are conservative and far-right are very sensitive to the feeling of disgust as a result of their brain structure. They literally feel disgusted at various things, for example, an interracial couple, a family of Somalis moving into their neighborhood, or gay men walking hand in hand. These are natural feelings to unnatural things. This response is an evolved feeling that actually has served an important purpose throughout our evolutionary history.

People who are far-left do not have that sensitivity towards disgust and don't have the evolved natural response towards various social ills in their communities. This may be because it's no longer necessary, and it's something we are evolving away from. Or it may be because they are defective humans, lacking an important sensitivity towards certain social ills. This defect may be related to their genetics, or to their early childhood development.

Do you mean the actual guy in your picture, a mass shooter, or the average /pol/poster? If it's the former you want to read up on mental illnesses with psychotic features, that guy shares more in common with his fellow terrorists than he does with an average /pol/ anon.

If you want to understand the /pol/ mindset reading books is not really the way to go about it, you can read books that describe their beliefs but that's not how most of them get there. In order of most significant factors for /pol/ conversion it goes:

1. Racial statistics. IQ, crime, educational achievement, etc. tons of studies and graphs showing the relation of these things to race, poverty, etc. This is the really big one, because it animates the core of the White nationalist/separatist/supremacist movements. It's also so directly taboo that if you are willing to consider it you're probably willing to consider just about anything else. /pol/ have a tendency to downplay the IQ/crime of east asians though, which are of course higher/lower, in line with their being better at a lot of other stuff.

2. Jews. Quite a lot of variance here, but the general idea is just that Jews in White countries are a)powerful and influential, which they determine by showing Jews in various influential positions, especially media and banks, and pointing out the taboo on doing even this b)Jews promote policies that hurt Whites, especially mass immigration, while promoting the opposite policies in Israel. There is the Culture of Critique, Mein Kampf, International Jew, History of Central Banking, etc. but most /pol/fags are just 'noticing' this pattern by following the news. Whether Jews are high IQ or just sneaky varies from /pol/ack to /pol/ack but they mostly all think they're hurting White countries just by being there.

/pol/ have many other beliefs but in terms of concrete, almost universal things everyone there thinks those are the big 2. They differ in terms of political philosophy, approach to religion, patriarchy/feminsm, etc. though it usually trends fairly far right wing. It is no coincidence that racism and antisemitism are pretty much the 2 most taboo ideas in our society, /pol/ is one of the very few places where that discourse is permitted.
