You should read them anyway. He falls off after the first 3, which are great. Just read them like how people read Dune and pretend the later stuff didn’t happen. Knowing now that the series is never being finished, I wish I’d stopped after the first three books. 4 and 5 are just setup books for one that’s never coming out.
