>Too fucking many. Being a grad student, the amount I have to read is fucking staggering sometimes
>Fiction, poetry, and drama
>Fiction I usually read about 40-65 pages an hour, depending on the text. Poetry I can read a full 100 page collection in one day. Drama is the same, I can usually read the play and then watch a live performance of it in a day

Exclusively nonfiction; mostly philosophy, politics, and history

I'm a neet. When I'm not pacing around my room listening to classical music for hours or browsing this shithole, I'm reading shit. I can go days with reading more than 200 pages a day to not lifting a book up for a week. Lately though I've been doing anywhere from 100-150 pages for however many hours a day. I dont keep track of time.

>> No.17588061

Usually 1 sometimes 2.
Non fiction, psychology, philosophy, history and anthropology.
Usually like to go for long walks and listen to 3-4 hours of audiobooks. If I have to read it's usually 10-20 pages an hour as I'm dyslexic and read slow as fuck.

Not really, probably above the average, but not that much. I had meet people way smarter than me. So it is not like I'm that great. And there are definitely some anons who are more well read than me, considering that I started reading Philosophy 2-3 years ago.

>>17587171
KEK I'm reading mainly fiction and Philosophy. And the STEM book I'm current reading is related to pain Psychology. Am I redeemed now? But I used to study Physics in college.

>5 (Generally one each of fiction, non fiction, a short story collection, a diary of some kind, and a poetry collection. The latter two are usually only read briefly before going to sleep.)
>For fiction it is mainly classics of some variety with the occasional science fiction or historical fiction added in. Sometimes I will find an author I like that doesn't fit into this and read their works for a while. Non fiction is usually history (as this is my personal favorite and as there are seemingly infinite amounts of history books to read) but I've read reasonably widely in small amounts on other topics. The diary is often either by an author I like or occasionally something I've seen excerpts from in a history book and wanted to read more of.
>2-3 hours a day, the balance shifts between nonfiction and fiction depending on the works and depending on how far I am in to each work.

Usually three but loosely speaking it will be a text book, a classic, and a trashy novel.
'A History of Modern Europe' by John Merriman
'Odes of Pindar' translated by C. M. Bowra
'White Teeth' by Zadie Smith
