Cats are cute and silly and they generally mind their own business.

Dogs are more of an outdoor animal.

Cats sleep almost all day and enjoy sitting on you while you are very still, so they don't disturb your writing much and can actually make the proccess more confy.

One cat is warming my feet right now.
