Love cares for fragility. I love to watch a sunrise and find it beautiful and I accept that it can only last for a little while, I wouldn't want birds to sing permanently in my hears, I don't want to drink wine all day every day, I don't want to always be with my friends or my family, I accept that one day I'm going to die and I made my peace with that. Those seeking eternal life in this word are fools. I've read my share of pessimistic philosophers, some of them are brilliant but in the end, their system about life is always reducible to their subjective experiences and thus to dishonesty in generalisation. Leopardi in his Zibaldone for instance tells us that happiness doesn't exist. Not that it's ephemeral or pointless, but that it outright doesn't exist. Can you imagine that?
