so I'm a bit retarded re poetry. pure math proofs? sure. but anything obscure in poetry my brain cannot penetrate. when I was 20 I got into Bukowski because he was so accessible. even wrote a couple dozen emulation-type poems. read most of his stuff, but every other poet I read felt beyond me, so I gave it up.
now 40, I find this e.e. cummings and I am FLOORED. I'm sitting here alone in my apartment CRYING. why didn't anyone tell me about this?
