Hey /lit/, I know this is a bit off topic, but there's no /psy/ board here.

So I've been a reader all my life. One of my fondest childhood memories is my dad reading the hobbit aloud. I'm a devourer of books. My most valuable possessions are in my head.

Because of this, i've had troubles forming attachments to physical things, including people. I tried running and hiding and reading, but my friends found me.

Help me /lit/, what's a good book to read to understand friendship? How do i resolve these twisting and swirling characters in my head into one Me?

I bet you've got some deep things to say about your friends too huh? Oh yeah that girl called Cathy, her dad dies so she goes for men who are like big and kinda like him....ya know...replacing the father figure.

None of these posts have anything to do with OP's post.

Also green-oval.net/cgi-board.pl/lit/reports/post-count shows that D&E is the biggest shitposter around here, so you can stop arguing about it now.

Right, I know. But now I have people who care about me...

ah fuck it, I just thought you'd have books on friendship to share.

Good books to read to understand friendship, IMO:
The Outsiders, Waiting For Godot, Tom Sawyer, The Giving Tree, and for what it's worth I thought The Dark Tower series was an excellent comment on friendship and teamwork.
