I think Im getting filtered by this book. Im new to reading sort of and saw this book recommended with its schizoid protagonist.
But every paragraph is "GENTLEMEN..." or "AH, BUT MY SIRS..." and then some rambling about pleasure and moaning from a toothache or stone walls.
Maybe I need to read more, I am going to have to come back to it later.

I read this sick shit 2 years ago when I was in a very bad mental state. After a very depressing experience at a festival in a market square where I thought everyone was making fun of me. And then I had to take the train home and a couple sat next to me and I couldn't move for 40 minutes. When I got home, I was just glad that no one could see me and I didn't know what to do anymore and then I remembered that I had bought this book and that evening I still had it completely read through.

What a shitty world.
