How tf can I read this? It seems to be like 5 different books? Everything I see on amazon is super pricey and idk what I'm even buying

Though it’s often talked against i read the thomas carlyle translation and it was highly enjoyable. Just read it anon, here’s a link.

If you’re like me, you’re going to get sucked into the personality of it so fast you can’t believe it, the all time most beautiful section is the confession of the Beautiful soul. While I absolutely loved the work, I found the ending a tad bit weak but that’s Because it’s not a real end but rather where the second book begins.

Here’s one possible translation for the second book which is called “ Wilhelm Meister's Journeyman Years”

It also has his other works along with the apprenticeship.

It’s a sublimely fascinating world, because it feels so human, so alive, the introspection and hot takes within it are phenomenal and once you begin reading a bit it’s very difficult to put down as it’s aesthetically very pleasing.

I know I’m talking very vaguely but I do not wish to spoil any part of the book for you friend.
