Kafka bibliography is not that long and his essence can be taken in with a quick reading of his Short stories in a collection and a thorough reading of The Trial all of which is easily less than 700 pages.

Kafka is good but damn I don't get why people consistently want to talk about him when its been discussed like a million times in and outside of /lit/
