Lady Chatterley's Lover: the perfect expression of love that isn't impotently intellectual nor baseless animalism. Lawrence presents us with the picture of a confident sensitivity informed by raw desire, the superhuman within the human, and the human within the animal. I love the fuck out of this book and consider it the holy word of god when it comes to the portrayal of an ideal love.
