Because it's fucking absurd and comedic. Find me another non-Wordsworth book cover that even comes close to being that hilarious and cheesy. For £2.50 I'm buying them all just for the laughs.

Ive only read p&v but I got a garnett translation of crime and punishment. Whats different about it? The dialogue feels stilted but the endnotes are nice in p&v, especially in Demons since he namedrops a bunch of people who are pretty much unknown nowadays
