Dating around, in my experience, helps you navigate and learn what you value in a romantic partner. You learn a lot from other people. Having close friends, knowing people on a deeply platonic level is healthy and so is romantic experience. I think that my past will make me a more understanding, flexible partner for whoever I decide I wanna lock it down with.

Also it's fun and harmless. There are some base, violent impulses that I have as a man that I don't think I would be able to do with someone who like, gave me children. 'Getting things out of your system' was slightly wrong terminology. I meant it more in the sense that how do you know who you are if you don't know what you are capable of and what you like?
