What does christianity say about apostasy? Are apostates supposed to be killed?

"You shall have no other gods before me".- Exodus 20:3; "Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. And yet these idolatrous heractics have their cult leader saying:

pretty sure it says in one of paul's letters that no true christian can apostasize and if do it's because you never were to begin with, not sure if that's counting people being tortured or threatened with death though
