I need book recs like pic related. I'm trying to learn to exploit people; I'd like to be able understand all of people's vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

I don't care for morality and I want things that go in depth. I don't want recycled pop-psych garbage about persuasion and influence. Robert Greene is the only author I've seen that ever has anything compelling to say on the subject.

I was considering reading helter skelter or perhaps some other books about cults, since those are basically case studies in exploiting people.

Also, save the advice and advocacy - I'll just ignore you, or that part of your suggestion. I'm open to hearing about different strategies and inferences, though. Basically, just don't try to dissuade me or bring up some shit by Mark Manson or something. Thanks.

Are you smart enough to read between the lines? Not a lot of people know that, but GEB is the best work for what you're looking for. It's time consuming to work it all out, but it brings your understanding to a whole new level.

Immerse yourself in your goals. Don't just read books about whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. In fact, it's not even about the information itself. Just read it. It's very short, it can be read in one sitting and it can be found for free online. Both Schopenhauer and Nietzsche loved it.

I won't, but you're not going to find what you're looking for. There is no secret skeleton key that's going to give you the control over your life that you're looking for. By the way what is up with Robert Greene's latest book (Human Nature)? There's a few good introspective chapters but then suddenly it goes full woke and gives advice that goes against what he advocated for in his earlier books. The layout and quality is a huge step down compared to his other books as well. Did he sell out?
