I get excited when I get a book, doesn't have to be a "new" one. I don't usually get excited for a newly released book, unless it's an author I really like or a series I started and the next installment is coming out.

I rarely buy books that just came out.... there are hundreds of years of books I haven't had a chance to read, why would one that someone just wrote be better than all those other ones?
