Are there any sites like surfthechannel or icefilms dedicated to books instead of movies? A nice, orderly catalog of ebooks for free download?

I've been trying to grab the whole animorphs series, but I haven't had any luck.

If you don't have an answer, hey let's talk about animorphs.

aaaaaaand I just read the sticky. Nevermind, let's just talk about animorphs

My brother and I were just talking about animorphs the other day, I read them along with him when he was in middle school years ago and they were still coming out. Though a lot of it was silly, we both enjoyed them. The 'changing into animals' bit seemed really quickly overtaken by just sci-fi stuff, which was ok. The quality of the books became really hit-or-miss once they started being ghostwritten.

i didn't realize they were ghostwritten, that's disappointing.
although i guess looking back... 6 books a year doesn't make any sense.

it was only after a certain point that the ghostwriting started, specifically after the introduction of the 'new member' (who I think was named David). The outlines and plot were still written down by Applegate but someone else wrote the book, and was thanked at the start for their work. (i.e. The author wishes to thank So-and-so for their help with the book). Applegate returned for the last several books in the series and did the special books like the Ellimist chronicles herself.

I always felt bad for the kid that turned into a duck. He got ripped off big time...

I wish I could remember at which point I stopped reading those.

Clearly you forgot about the black girl that turned into a slug - most worthless power EVER

I really wished they had released ahardback collection of these books.

With smaller fonts they could have easily put the entire series into a 3 volume anthology type book.

Would have been perfect for my bookshelf.

There's a Q&A with the author going on right now, if anyone's interested.
