I miss the old threads where we would talk about Emily Brontes autism

>accounts of other people around her state that she avoided social interaction as much as possible
Yeah, she was definitely autistic. Her autism led to an amazing novel though, so I guess in the end it wasn't a bad thing

she had two sisters, also writers. were they also autistic?

I'm no expert, but I believe they were fairly normal in comparison. Emily was just the weirdo of the family who always left a bad impression on people

Emily was the best. No she wasn't autistic. She was just exceptional and wanted someone exceptional to love her. But all she had was a drunkard brother, a few random casual acquaintance nobodies and a dog. Natural in those circumstances that she would keep to herself. As Garry Kasparov said, "I am not a ten-dollar bill to be spent by anyone."

Stop fucking projecting, you socially inadequate retard.

>care
>were
I take it that this rhyming couplet would pronounce 'were' as we now pronounce 'wear', (and 'where' for those accents where 'wh' isn't aspirated).
But interestingly, there are modern Northern English accents (I think more around the Greater Manchester area than Yorkshire), where 'were' would be pronounced as most do, and the way they would read this so the two rhyme, would be to pronounce 'care' as one would pronounce 'cur'.
