Some kind of Philosophy is somewhat natural, anon. Myths are found on practically any culture. So even without formal education in Philosophy it is not like you haven't been philosophizing.

That's not true though. If you don't develop that kind of autistic deductive thinking in an early age, you most likely will never do. Most good philosophers, even if they started with philosophy late, developed this skill by doing math or physics first.

As it is true that as a general fact all great artists started young but most great thinkers started in the latter part of their teens. And there is

It should be recognised however, that I can practice art in my head as much as I want, make it as familiar and understandable to my mind as much as I want, but I will never be a good artist if I never develop that level of skill and practice and experienced knowledge of it. On the other hand with philosophy, as you point out, you can be more receptive to if you do those mental activities which are natural to it, at a young age.
