Spinoza is the most wholesome philosopher, along with Leibniz. He immanentize God and provides the framework to better understand reality which is one and the same as to become more like God. Literally nothing can be more wholesome than that.

This thread rules. More of these, please. I agree with Benjamin and Spinoza. I’d like to add Gadamer. Not because his writing is super comfy and wholesome (though it is), but because in my imagination he spent his days in a big chair reading Plato and taking afternoon walks. Kinda like those videos of him on philosophy overdose.
