Read three of then when I was younger. Very light lecture. Read if you haven't played the games, otherwise skip. They aren't very long btw. so you can finish one in a sitting.

Pretty sure the ones post-Ezio are full of lore that's decent if you're into the games. I always contemplated buying some when I was playing them all the time but didn't want to look like a loser buying vidya lit.
