Back in 2017, my ex-boyfriend and I used to sit outside an ecumenical chapel near our university, where he would constantly babble about this book and about how truthful and insightful it was. I never really took interest in it, but I’m sure that if he hadn’t embraced Catholicism again, we would still be together.
