Was Guenon a flat-earther?

Yes

No, but he was a no-negative-numberer. He may also have been a (symbolic) geocentrist.

He was a hollow-earther (Agartta)

Are you sure, I thought that he thought that Agartha was symbolical of traditional knowledge itself that had become hidden during the Kali Yuga. Not an actual place in the centre of the physical Earth.

>and if we consider the implications, it is perhaps not so strange after all that those who control the modern public discourse insist on the exclusive validity of the spherical conception of the terrestrial surface (we have spoken elsewhere of gradations of symbolism, which, far from ruling each other out in fact are complementary); to strictly delimit one's conceptions it to cut one off from the Unlimited and its manifold manifestations in whatever mode. Indeed, the ancients were well aware that a certain spiritual (we must strictly distinguish such terms from "Neo-spiritualism") gateway exists around the planets periphery, and that the planets farthest reach of traversable land forms a hallowed place as it were, forming the site of the Hyperborean revelation, and certain Akkadian texts speak of a connection to the southernmost continent as well. "The Gate of Auspiciousness, is found where heaven, ice and land meet" says one Taoist text1. Likewise in the Hindu tradition, it is said in one of the Itihasas that the earth is wide and four-cornered like a carpet or hide2, this itself lending it to a deeper symbolism, the domain or rug of Hiranyagarbha (the manifested contingent world), being that which men of Knowledge "rolls up as if it were piece of hide" in order that "there will be an end of misery"3

Thx anon, been wanting to read that. Do you need to have read the Ossendowski book before it, or it just helps?

It probably helps but I did fine without it. I had read about some of the subjects discussed before though.

So I heard, I had a phase where I was fascinated with the White Army / russian civil war and had my eye on it. Passed on an old edition translated into my mother tongue that I found in a used bookstore long ago, and now I can’t find a used copy of the book translated into my language anywhere (and I refuse to read it in english). Feels bad man.
