Good to hear anon, I just started getting into reading this year and made a thread here yesterday asking for help on getting new books and what editions and anons here were so helpful, gave me tips on how long to read to help my attention span and stuff, it was a really nice thread. I read crunchier philosophical shit in my free time, I feel I can only digest it through the active process of reading. I fear that if I listened to them in audiobook form, they wouldn't sink in.
I use audiobooks exclusively for low effort genre fiction that I don't want to waste my reading time on, but which I can listen to while doing manual labour.
