Do you think it's still possible to create original and groundbreaking literature in the 21st century? Is it even possible to create anything new anymore?

Should you even try to read new books or should you just read all the groundbreaking books of the past?

Tell me what you think.

I just finished pic related which was a pretty good book that could've been written in the 60's.

No. Too many snobs today. Even if you write a masterpiece, no one will seriously say it's a masterpiece because you were born too late. Nowadays you can't change anything no matter how good you are.

You get to be considered a legend only when you die. For now, your job is to lift heavy, eat well, and write freely. Every good author risked making something that might piss some people off.
