I think we are just too old for Harry Potter to remind us of childhood. I read HP while in jail, actually and it was nice escapist fiction--I can't really speak for its literary merits, I think the over-arching storyline was pretty thoughtful until the last book..and the books individually have all of the necessary elements of fiction..I don't think they are really bad but yeah Roald Dahl will always be superior to Rowling in my eyes,
