> there is no lack because lack on its owned is imagined, thus requires a transcendent structure of lack. This runs up against Deleuze’s more materialist view that we produce desire from the world around us like a machine, taking in raw material and creating desire
> all processes are productive, machine like, taking in raw material, produce flows to other process- machines
> Desire is “encoded” on the body by a social debt created by the structure of the social body
> Shizophrenia is a sincere expression of desire that repels the social debt and decodes capitalist desire
> They also use schizophrenia as a new way to think free from reason and coded desire. One where becoming is not halted by transcendent categories. Schizophrenics can freely interact with the world, reflecting themselves in there environment and letting there environment reflect in them.

I know I’m leaving some stuff out, especially there critiques of Hegel, Frued and Lucan, this was just the most important parts I pulled. Any problem with these? I wouldn’t mind a critique of my interpretation.

Fuck. Seems like you got some more coherent stuff out of it than I did. I thought he was saying lack was a positive aspect of desire because it's added to you though the experience of whatever it is you desire? Like lack can't come into play until you have an idea of what you're lacking? Is that where encoding comes in?
Shit I'm gonna have to read it again to get any of this.

Ok, I can see the point you’re making. To clarify, So once you have an experience lack is created simultaneously with desire, thus lack is positive and not an imagined transcendent lack, but a real experience.

This sounds more like my very plausibly incorrect understanding of it, although I know they consider the imaginary to be real, and I don't know enough about transcendental anything say how that would factor in.

For Deleuze all thought is material and empirical. He calls himself a “transcendental empiricist” I haven’t read D and R but to my understanding thought and reason are an attempt to express the truth only experienced through experience. But again I haven’t dived deep enough into his metaphysic, but it’s on a list
