I'm a frequent lurker, but I've never really made a thread here asking for suggestions, so here I am.

Basically looking for any books similar to the Reader, in regard to its unrequited love/love lost aspect (for lack of a better description.) The book is depressing as hell, but I loved it all the more, and it's the kind of thing I feel like reading as of late.

Care to give me a hand, /lit/?
