Oof.

The technological system usurps all of the major economic leanings -- especially if you go as far as Communism.

No, you’re thinking of Leninism, not “communism”.

It’s really weird how we can’t even discuss the opposite, the antidote to capitalism, because you keep redefining the terms. Your type are blither cowards.

No true...

Which is definitely communism. Or any left-wing philosophy. The only possible antidote to capitalism goes beyond materialism, because both capitalism and communism worship materialism.

Baylis has written a decent book on globalism.

In the end, read Taleb for some localism instead. God bless capitalism.

>because both capitalism and communism worship materialism.
Read Stirner. State-capitalism is a secularist faith based cult. There’s nothing more spiritualist, non-material, than the rule of laws and the respecting of debt tokens. You yourself are a willing slave, a true believer in this crazy cult. Which btw ignores the actual material of the environment and its unraveling.
No. Socialism, communism, anarchism, I don’t care what it’s called, we’re talking about the opposite when we talk about materialism

>Embrace socialism
The idea of socialism itself is a perfect manifestation of what's wrong with the West.
An ethic purely based on money, supporting degeneracy and laziness that could only work if all people were what's today called the 'effective altruists' (which sounds terrible you ask me).
Of course though, Marxes critique of capitalism is as relevant now as ever.
