there isn't any that wouldn't also disappoint. cyberpunk was just some sheltered hippie kids getting excited about shit they saw on tv in the 80s: computers, gangs, corporate politics etc. in the end there's not much to it. i've never seen a genre that people have to spend more energy pretending to like for because it looks exciting from a distance and then turns out to be so underwhelming.
