It was hard bros, I kept looking away after every word, I tried every technique in the book but something just clicked today and I managed to read 3 pages in one day, this is the most I ever read in my life. Is this what it feels to be a /lit/izen?

I read on google play books, how come e-reader makes it easier for me? It just made it easy because I read the book while I took a walk to a restaurant.

I think it's because there's only the screen. You don't have to worry about how many pages you've read, or how many you still have to go, you can't flip through the pages randomly- there's just a little square of text (and with font size, you can make it more or less text) and you can just focus on reading that little section.

The first time I turned on a kindle, and was able to read again, I almost cried.

That's better than not reading. I was reading 5 pages a day of my previous book. Had to abandon it and I'm reading around 25 daily now.

I tried to fuck a shampoo bottle at the age of 4-5 in the shower. I got an erection from it. Holy fuck are you forreal? I used to get completely naked every single time my parents left the house at that age because it would feel good and i tried to fuck the shampoo bottles, bath paperrolls. This all started in kindergarden, age 4-6.

1. no distractions - everything you need is there, if you don't know a word you can just tap it and a definition shows up, you don't have to go to a browser and look it up and meanwhile check 4chan and youtube
2. e-ink makes letters really sharp and just comfy to read. also sometimes there are some illustrations which look really great too, like they are printed
3. bigger screen. portable enough to have it in your pocket and hold in one hand, but big enough to feel like you're reading a page
4. battery lasts weeks, you don't really have to think about it. you can charge it once a month while you upload a new e-book to it
