I'm not angered, it's just such a tired cliche that has been discussed to death. Redddit might want to go over it again.

Funny, because they describe radically different worlds. I'm neither required to do (for some reason) painful calisthenics every morning, nor given delightful soma tablets to distract me from my frustrations. Shakespeare is still very easy to find and read, in fact it's still taught in schools. Seems like they resemble the current reality not significantly more than when they were written because the whole point of this shit genre is to criticize contemporary trends by charicaturing them and waiting for midwits to be astonished that there are any similarities at all.
Anyway fuck off. You're a hackneyed, hyperbolic faggot.

What if we are born and bred brainlets, hallucinating the shitty society around us. I don't get why people say this world is like Brave New World. It's not technologically advanced enough. Unless we were the brainlets with dulled perception.

Society in brave new world is just our society taken to its most logical and extreme conclusion by following rationalism
Only difference is that since it was written nazis gave a bad rep to eugenics so now you have to wait for automation to take the place of the brainlets
