Why aren't you an antinatalist, /lit/?

I just finished The Last Messiah and feel like I was punched in the face. You know that they're right.

More good pessimistic/antinatalist literature?

I'm only against blind reproduction, i.e. just reproduce, bro!

If someone has their life in order, and isn't bringing a child into a terrible situation, then I'm not really against it. Though, I don't think the human population should increase in any meaningful number.

Completely wrong. Anyone born today has lower living standards on average than the boomers and will never own anything or have financial security. They'll work paycheck to paycheck and never get out of debt for the rest of their lives. Even if you don't live in america, you won't do better in the rest of the world.

I would like to have kids but watching other people's lives I have seen that it's impossible to raise your children these days. Your wife will not be able to stay at home. It's impossible for someone who's a lower social class to have a stay at home wife. As you both work you'll have to outsource the education of your children to school and other institutions. They will get pressured to buy products and become part of the multiculti by the other people they will meet. Depending on how much you'll have to work, you might completely give up the education and rearing of your children to third parties. People I know who have a teenage kid have pretty much raised a stranger, and newer generations seem to be even more detached from their parents than the ones before, and even more inserted into consumerism and hedonism. It's going to be really awful when these newer generations grow up. I'm not going to have kids just for the sake of reproducing, I'm not going to feed more souls to this industrial machine.

>People need to be miserable; that's how great things end up getting done, to escape the misery.
What a retarded take. If you are both miserable and a slave and have no time or resources, and you'll be isolated from everyone else spiritually and physically, you will not be able to "change the world", idiot. We're headed toward a society where you will get a daily pill and you will feel no displeasure at all, you will feel no misery, no need to ever change anything as the range of movement in your life becomes smaller and smaller until you literally repeat the same actions day by day like a robot. Right now society tells you that if you are miserable the problem is exclusively yours.

There's nothing more pathetic than antinatalism.
It's exclusively used by the kind of wastes of space who'll use "breeder" as a pejorative.
