The rational part of my brain tells me that modern physics and everything else looks like the universe is held together or better consists of some sort of pantheistic god. I would be a part of that god just like everyone else and probably even everything else. But the rational part of my brain also tells me to trust my intuition in that regard. And my intuition wants me to believe in a god I can talk to, and a god that can influence my fate. There have been too many occurrences where I was doubting my faith and then something highly unlikely yet very lucky happened to me the next day and this in addition to some dreams got me wondering if my rational worldview can be correct.
But unfortunately I don't see any possibility to unite pantheism/panpsychism with a god with whom I can communicate some way or another so I don't really know what to believe.
Please throw a bunch of words (or even better books, essays or other writings) I can look up in order to find the truth.

I mean, what may seem contradictory to us may be perfectly reconcilable in a god, since it’s way beyond our understanding

I asked, 'Who are You?'
He replied, 'You'

God is the process that occurs on the outer borders of the universe, where non-existence becomes existence.

God is the creative process that occurs all around us.

At any given moment exists an infinite number of variables interacting with one another in an infinite number of manners to yield an infinite number of potentials. This pre-existence matrix that is ever-changing is God.

God is the process of trapping infinite and perfect potentials into finite and imperfect reality.

"It" is only flux.
It is the flux between perfection and infinite and imperfect and finite.

Highly syncretic worship of Sol Invictus/Ahura Mazda/Ame-no-Minakanushi and his various emanations. "Julian's Gods" by Rowland Smith is a great read that I would recommend to everyone here.

Why is it so unbelievable for Christians to believe God sent down another book? I'll hear Christians say, "The Quran came six hundred years after Jesus, so its false lol." when Jesus legit came several centuries after Moses.

It literally makes perfect sense since Ismail was sent to Arabia. Do bible thumpers really think God sent Ismail away just to appease a jealous woman? Prophets are always from the progeny of other Prophets so its not like Muhammad was any different than any other Prophet in this regard. Literally, you can't name one striking difference between him and the other Prophets of God other than the fact that He was the most successful Prophet ever who conquered the entirety of Arabia and is remembered every day by billions of people throughout time. I literally cannot fathom how people reject his Prophethood when he checks all the boxes perfectly.

Islam is the most inauthentic of all the Abrahamic religion.

Imagine being such a prole that you believe an all powerful being sent it's most important message down to mankind to one guy in the deserts of Arabia.

Imagine believing that this God didn't bother to have it even written in a way that is understandable in other languages
>> Muh if you want to understand Islam you. have to read the Quran in Arabic

Imagine believing that this God, wanting to create a code of conduct and beliefs that is suppose to provide humanity for the rest of their existence answers, also thought that it was important to include in the same book
"btw when the prophet dies, none of you can sleep with his wife"

How obvious is it that this was a manmade book (quite literally - written by a man who didn't want anybody to sleep with. his wives when he dies)

Yes Muslims believe in the bible that was sent to Jesus, not the bible of today because they believe it has been tampered with. Take for example John 1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Who said this? Which Prophet was this revealed too? Who wrote this into the bible? This is the kinds of questions they ask. And part of the reason why God sent Islam was because there wasn't a clear path to salvation since priests and monks began toying with the laws of God to the point of creating monasticism which pretty much made marriage prohibited when God made it permissible. All in all, the Gospel wasn't made to direct the entirety of mankind. Even Jesus said he was only sent to the israelites. The Quran, being the direct word of God, is the last testament of God's will to human beings.

it isn't exactly the same. the Gospel I mean. but it is a book that yielded a community of believers. the members of that community will be judged based on how they lived up to the commitments inherent to that book.

I guess from Gods point of view there is no element of chance involved in Jesus' teachings eventually being made into a book, or series of books.
