Not true, but that isn't even the point.
Maestro offers etic reconstructions of other theories (and sometimes fails to do so, most notably against Escohotado of all fucking people) and then criticises said reconstructions. This means you can not fully understand neither Maestro nor his 'enemies' unless you actually engage with the material that he talks about following an emic approach.
You can't understand classical liberal economics just by reading Marx, and you can't fully get Marx until you've understood liberal economics; you can't understand Kant just by reading Schopenhauer, and you can't fully understand Schopenhauer until you've understood Kant; you can't understand 'postmodern literary critique' (much less actual Literature) by reading Maestro, etc.
People who shill this man seem very vocal about how Anglos, German Idealism, etc., are shit, but they never actually provide any insight as to why, which makes me think they don't have a clue what's going on and have just jumped on the Hispanic bandwagon.
