Decided to do a scene from Macbeth with a group of 5, we're going to film a movie on it.

Any recommendations? I want it to be interesting, and i want to have fun, and it don't want it to be too hard cause i have some lazy fucks in my groupling

In my senior year, already 18, surely you guys can recommend me something?

the first scene of R&J would be better, has great potential as a scene.
maybe banquo's murder if you have a forest/woodland area nearby
failing that, the banquet scene where banquo comes back

The kid is probably reading Macbeth in class and was assigned to do this and probably can't change his book dumbfuck.

why the fuck did a mod delete my posts from this thread for being 'off topic' when i was telling this guy that a better play would be Romeo & Juliet.
what the fuck?

and then i told this guy

that the use of the words
>decided to do a
>decided
means that Macbeth was a chosen book and he could probably change it.

not really. maybe they were given the choice of scenes within macbeth.

I always liked doubling up people to a single character and/or passing a role along (so Anne plays Macbeth and Bob plays Macduff when they suddenly change to Anne being Macduff...), which could work well with a filmed piece. I mean, consider the effect these things have, I imagine it could work well with the witch scene for example.

The usual thing at the moment is to change time period and use it as a way to look at class and gangs. Generally taking style from circa the 1920s. It's some sort of Shakespeare fashion. This could be interesting, but maybe you want to be different. Consider as well that the story is more or less the Ring of Gyges.

My favourites would be Lady Macbeth's suicide or the Banquet scene. Anyone where characters question theirs and others sanity. That has lots of potential in film I think.
