Yeah it's pretty good. A hard(ish) sci-fi murder mystery which is pretty rare.

Has a few issues, being 1,000 pages, for example one twist I was kind of like "oh who was that guy again" despite having made notes on characters.

But overall the page count is worth it, a lot happens.

Pretty much, the author hated it because she went out of her way to make a fantasy setting with mostly black and brown characters, then they just ignored that on most cover art.

Those concerns aside, it is more eye-catching than the original cover that matched her vision.

he's lying anon. Thats just a different print with a different cover. Most earthsea covers have sparrowhawk white, despite him being described as swarthy and red. There's only one black person in the book until they go to the black island. Not that that matters.
